Electric goes Radio Radio

40 artists recorded 40 cover versions specially for BBC Radio 1 as part of Radio 1 Established 1967. Each artist was given a different year, and asked to record a track that was a Top 20 hit in that particular year. Some of them remained true to the original version, and others reinterpreted it.
