Kid Kasio is songwriter and producer Nathan Cooper, formerly a member of “The Modern”. He began work on a solo project in early 2010. Influenced by 80s synth pop artists like Flock of Seagulls, Howard Jones, Thompson Twins, Human League, and producers like Georgio moroder and Trevor Horn, he recorded an album using an almost entirely analogue studio of vintage synthesizers.
He wrote, recorded and produced his album almost entirely un-aided at his home studio in south east London, only enlisting the talents of guitarist Ben Todd and mix engineer Adrian Hall (Pet Shop Boys, Marc Almond).
